Consultation has concluded

April 22 - this project is now closed. Thank you to everyone who completed the questionnaire.

About the project

We want to speak to people who go boating on B.C.’s coastal waters and who visit marine parks. This will help us learn why you choose to go boating, and how you decide where to go. Hearing about a variety of experiences on the B.C. coast will help us make our marine services better for a broad range of park visitors.

We’ll be running one on one conversations via Microsoft Teams. Each conversation will be about an hour long, and participants will receive a $25 gift card for their time.

Who we want to speak with

We want to speak with all types of marine visitors who stay overnight either on the boat or camping ashore. We want to hear from novices to experts, who use any kind of boat, including kayaks, canoes, sailboats, and all sizes of powerboats.

If this sounds like you and you are interested in sharing your experiences, please complete the short questionnaire below. We’ll schedule conversations with as many people as we can, but may not be able to speak to everyone who responds.

How your personal information is collected

Your personal information is being collected by Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy under section 26(c) & 26(e) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act for the purpose of BC Parks marine user feedback. If you have any questions about the collection of your personal information, or you wish to submit your response through email or phone, please contact the survey lead at sarah.coney@gov.bc.ca
