1) Why is BC Parks consulting with the public about the recent changes at Ross Lake Provincial Park?

BC Parks wants to hear from park visitors to know how the changes have impacted recreational values like fishing, swimming and boating at Ross Lake.  Staff will use your feedback to help guide future work so the park protects environmental values and remains a great place for people to enjoy.

    2) Who has/will BC Parks reach out to?

BC Parks will be reaching out to various partners including:

    1. Gitxsan Authorities
    2. Village of Hazelton
    3. District of New Hazelton

    3) What is the timeline for this project?

People can respond to the survey between June 26 and July 28, 2023.  All feedback from this survey will be reviewed, analyzed, and incorporated into future plans for Ross Lake Provincial Park. BC Parks will share a summary of feedback via the website, email, and/or the Bang the Table platform.

    4) I do not have reliable access to internet, how can I submit my feedback?
